Steps to flush the Mac-Java Cache

If you have previously used the OLD vimas audio-recorder, these are the steps you must go through in order to use the new recorder successfully.

First, select GO
and Applications
go
In the Applications menu, select Utilities app-util
Look for Java Preferences util-java
Welcome to Java Preferences! preferences
Press the "Network" tab on top java-pref-network
If you dont have anything in the java cache that needs to be saved, hit the Delete Files button and OK pref-delete-files

Otherwise, select View Cache and delete any references to:
AudioApplet.jar
jaudioMac.tar
Vimas
Comtonpeslonline

  This next section will be used to delete the specific vimas folder
Next, open up a new file window file
Select the "Library" folder library

Selete the "Applications-Support" folder

appl-support
Locate the "Vimas" folder vimas
Right-click the "Vimas" folder and select "Move to trash" vimas-delete
   

Advanced:
Select
Show Console

to make the java console visible
