If you have previously used the OLD vimas audio-recorder, these are the steps you must go through in order to use the new recorder successfully.
| First, select GO and Applications |

| In the Applications menu, select Utilities |  |
| Look for Java Preferences |  |
| Welcome to Java Preferences! |  |
| Press the "Network" tab on top |  |
| If you dont have anything in the java cache that needs to be saved, hit the Delete Files button and OK |  |
Otherwise, select View Cache and delete any references to: |

| This next section will be used to delete the specific vimas folder | |
| Next, open up a new file window |  |
| Select the "Library" folder |  |
Selete the "Applications-Support" folder |

| Locate the "Vimas" folder |  |
| Right-click the "Vimas" folder and select "Move to trash" |  |
